On Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 8:00 AM, the American Legion National Commander Clarence Hill visited Robert H Burns Post 16.  After a filling breakfast of eggs, sausage, S.O.S. and grits the National Commander spoke on the need to get the word out about the American Legion using Internet tools, i.e., Blogs, Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, etc. These tools helps us connect and share with the people in your life what is important to us.  He also spoke on many items of interest to Veterans including the writing of Resolutions by local Posts. Accompanying the National Commander were his aide Larry White, American Legion Department Commander Ken "Doc" Lefleur, the LA Secretary of Veterans Affairs Lane Carson and others.
