Covington Mayor Michael Cooper recently signed a proclamation declaring September 11th as "A Day of Remembrance." 

 

The Robert H. Burns, American Legion Family Post 16 will host a ceremony on Tuesday, September 11th at the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center, located on North Columbia Street beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Guest speaker will be Andy Bruch a St. Tammany Parish resident and Regional Education Coordinator for the National Emergency Medical Services Academy.  For more information please contact the Post Home at (985) 892-0677.  The public is invited to attend.
