THE PAST COMMANDER CHAPTER 351, MILITARY ORDER OF THE PURPLE HEART WAS ASKED IF WE COULD PROVIDE A PROGRAM FOR "THE UPPER 3RD CLASS", A LADIES GROUP IN THE ST LUKE METHODIST CHURCH IN SHREVEPORT.  THE INVITATION WAS ACCEPTED AND OUR DEPARTMENT COMMANDER RICHARD GARNER AND KEN BOURGEOIS LET THE LADIES AND HUSBANDS KNOW WHAT IS MEANT TO BE A VETERAN DURING THE TIME WE SERVED.  WE GOT A WARM RECEPTION AND WERE REWARDED WITH A FIRST CLASS MEAL AND DESSERTS.
