The 2nd Grande Cheminot was held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at American Legion
Post 3 located in Alexandria, Louisiana.
The Finance Committee met at 9:00 AM followed by the Cheminot at 10:00 AM.
It was decided that the Spring Fling will be held in Monroe, LA on the
day before Mother's Day.
Americanism Directeur Milt Harrison made Americanism Pins available for a $3.00
The Grande Fundraiser: 100 Recipe Books are on hand for a $15.00 donation for each
book. One half of the profits will go to the Grande. The other half will be divided between the participating Voitures.
Grand Correspondant Hank Kwiatkowski reminds us of the importance in filing our 990 IRS
Forms. The deadline for filing is October 14th. You also need a Tax I.D. number when filing.
Filing can be done On-Line only.
If you have not yet paid your National Past Chef de Gare Club Membership dues, please do so
ASAP. Make your check out to Grande de la Louisianne and mail to Grande Commissaire Intendant Cliff Kershaw.
Voiture 224 turned in 8 membership stubs and a check to pay for these memberships
to the Grande Sous Correspondant Dudley LeBlanc.
Monsieur Archie Boyette reminds us that the "Cajun Link" now cost $2.00
Voiture 224 will donate $50.00 to the Louisiana Veteran's Home for dues.
